The Editor is dead. Long live The Editor

Yes, its true. The Editor is dead. Long live the Editor. Well not dead exactly. Not even unwell. Just simply, and sadly, departed to southern climes where we hope he has found heaven and haven in new cuisine exploration.

So, eatvancouver.net has a new Editor. Me. I hope to continue the excellent traditions of my predecessor and provide for you faithful, and new, readers some insights into the incredibly array of culinary options and opportunities, delicacies and disagreeables, available to us in this wonderful city.

There will be more Smackdowns; more reviews; more consumption across categories; more discussion; more fanfare; more flames (no doubt); more fun, and hopefully just more. We also hope to continue to bring other useful information about food, food events and foodies to your eyes and ultimately your palates.

We – meaning my assembled army of epicurean operatives – are actively amassing a host of new articles that will begin to trickle forth in the days and weeks to come.

I would like to invite you to continue on this journey with us at eatvancouver.net. Please don’t hesitate to contact me and, of course, to leave your comments as  you peruse our fair. We will always be grateful for the feedback.

Cheers,

Doran

To original editor of eatvancouver, I wish you safe travels, best of luck towards your PhD, and all the best at your new home! I really enjoyed your contributions to this excellent food/restaurant review website.

I look forward to Doran’s reviews!
