Although we at Eat Vancouver have always aimed to provide helpful full-length reviews, this format has become unwieldy for several reasons. Oftentimes it is difficult to visit a restaurant and try enough items such that the review is fair. And sometimes a singular meal, impression, or even bite is important enough to document, but perhaps not in the format of a full review. For this reason, we introduce “quick bites,” a forum for smaller, but still signficant, matters. We will continue publishing full reviews, but the addition of quick bites should allow for more frequent posting.

This is a great idea! I enjoy the long thorough reviews but I appreciate more frequent posting. There are other sites but sometimes the reviews border on the indecipherable. Thus there is niche to be filled.
