Have you ever tried eating at A Kettle of Fish on pacific and hornby? It’s an old restaurant but the menu has changed to a more nouvelle cuisine rather than classic cuisine. If you’re interested in trying it out, then let me know when and I’ll look into making you a V.I.P. for when you come. I’m just curious to see how you would rate the dishes. =)
I’m so glad that I found your site! Currently in California, we’re relocating to Vancouver early next year. Your blog will be helpful in getting me up to speed on the food scene.
Have you heard about this event? it’s about Italian Food & Wine… maybe you can post it on your site… let me know! Thank you!

The Italian Chamber of Commerce invites you once again to visit the Lower Mainland’s favourite restaurants to enjoy a delicious three course Italian dinner ranging from $20-$50.
This celebration starts September 1-15th.
Enjoy this unique opportunity of taste authentic italian cuisine in the most renown restaurants in the Lower Mainland.
If you like Lebanese food there is a new Lebanese food restaurant where the old Habibi’s was. The prices are reasonable and the food is all very fresh. It’s on Broadway and Spruce.
There’s a fantastic new place in Steveston. Been there less than a year and we love it enough to call ourselves regulars. Blue Canoe Waterfront Restaurant. Fine dining, seafood type dishes, but burgers, steaks and a variety of other things too. Definitely worth checking out.
If you are ever in the Port Moody area, check out Kurumba Restaurant. It is a small but very clean restaurant that is gaining popularity for their variation of asian foods. They serve a wide variety of chinese, sri lankan, thai, malaysian foods. If you are looking for spicy food….this should be your desination of choice.
If you’re still looking for brunch spots, go to Grub (4328 Main Street) for Sunday (and only Sunday) brunch. It was so good, I kind of fell out of my chair, almost.
