I was walking to the gym the other day when I saw the above sign on the door of what was the wine bistro Vintropolis. I never really saw many people in there, and it was situated on a hotly contested block that also homes The Smoking Dog and Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company, so I can’t say I’m too surprised. The new residents sound like they are playing it pretty safe, but we shall see.
Bring it on!

Or you know, let’s see how it plays out. Something like that.

Ah, tis a shame. I had long wanted to try that place but never managed to. Is the attached VQA wine store still there?

Yes the VQA wine store is still there. Before it became a VQA store I believe the store and restaurant were under the same management.
And yes it is a shame, I was always curious about Vintropolis and meant to try it at some point. Now I’m curious about the new place. You might even call me bi-curious.

Thanks for the heads-up. I guess I’ll have to try the new place then. (I wouldn’t call you bi-curious though.)
